The simple iCoupler digital interface and stable performance characteristics can eliminate the problems such as the current transmission ratio, the nonlinear transfer function and the influence of temperature and service life, which are usually possessed by optocouplers. These iCoupler products do not require external drivers and other discrete devices. In addition, when the signal data rate is equal, the power consumption of the iCoupler device is only 1/10 to 1/6 of the optocoupler.
