Note 1:
ST-LINK/V1 and ST-LINK/V2 are completely different. If you have been using V1 and replaced with V2, you need to reinstall the ST-LINK/V2 driver and you may need to update the software.
In other words, ST-LINK/V1 and V2 are completely different devices for the computer.
Note 2:
   STLINK/V2 has version requirements for the software, as follows:
 1ST-LINK Utility 2.0 and above 2IAR EWARM V6.20 and above
 3STVD 4.2.1 and above 4IAR EWSTM8 V1.3 and above
 5STVP 3.2.3 and above 6KEIL RVMDK V4.21 and above
Note three:
VISTA, WIN7, WIN8 users, please install the driver and application in administrator mode, if it is a dynamic signature problem, please be sure to trust the ST LINK V2 driver (WIN8 may need to turn off the driver mandatory signature before the installation is successful).
After the installation is complete, there will be "STMicroelectronics STLink dongle" device in the device manager.
