How to use
Prepare a 2G GSM SIM Card which can support GSM and GPRS into the GPS Tracker. T-mobile will be the best option.
If your sim card has pin code, unlock the SIM card on your mobile phone.
Plug the GSM SIM Card into the OBD GPS Tracker.
Plug the device into the vehicle's OBD-II port.
Download and install the free APP on your smart phone (There are a few good apps out there in the google & apple store. the one we recommend and its for free, is: itracksafe).
Select IMEI type, enter the IMEI code of the device (find IMEI code label on the device). The default password is"123456".
The Tracking unit receives a GPS signal (make sure the GPS unit is not located indoor or in a metal covered place, can cause the signal not to work).

When using SMS Text:
If you only wish to use the SMS text tracking option, you can buy any prepaid GSM SIM card (AT&T, T-Mobile, or any other GSM SIM card).
You don't have to buy a data plan since you will only use SMS text.
When using Real Time Live Tracking:
Since in this mode, the GPS tracker needs to send the location data continuously to the web, you will need a data plan for your SIM card.
