Ds1302 is a trickle-up charging clock chip launched by dallas, which contains a real-time clock/calendar and 31-byte static ram to communicate with a single chip through a simple serial interface.Real-time clock/calendar circuit provides second, minutes, time, day, week, month, year information, monthly days and leap year days that can be adjusted automatically.Clock operations can be decided in a 24-hour or 12-hour format through am/pm instructions. The communication between ds 1302 and single chip microcomputer can be carried out simply by synchronous serialization, using only three port lines: (1) rst reset (2) i/o data line (3) sclk serial clock.Clock/ram read/write data in a byte or up to 31 bytes of character groups. Ds 1302 work with low maintenance data and clock information power less than 1mw
