Thanks to the MPL3115A2 built-in full compensation algorithm and a high degree of algorithm, the sensor can directly output the accurate 20 bit pressure reading or 20 bit high value, as well as 12 bit temperature readings, effective resolution of up to 30 cm. From the beginning to the international standard unit of measurement output (Pascal, m and C), MCU only need I2C read and write operations, does not require any additional data processing at the same time, effectively saving the MCU resource and greatly reduces the power consumption of the system.
MPL3115A2 also supports on-chip pressure, height and temperature offset adjustment, autonomous data acquisition, limit alarm and extreme value records and other functions. The sensor also provides up to 128 times the over sampling rate, 32 FIFO sample buffer for data storage, the host can read data as required.
