The MAX4466 is a small power operational amplifier optimized for use as a microphone preamplifier. They provide the ideal combination of optimized amplification bandwidth products and supply current, as well as low voltage operation in a micro package. MAX4466 is stable, requiring only a 24μA supply current to provide 200kHz amplification bandwidth. Once unpacked, a minimum steady gain of + 5V / V can be achieved and provides a 600kHz gain in product bandwidth. In addition, these amplifiers feature high-rail, high AVOL rail-to-rail outputs, excellent power removal and common-mode rejection rates, suitable for working in noisy environments. It is widely used in cell phones, digital repeaters, headsets, hearing aids, microphone preamplifiers, laptops, and speech recognition systems.
