The l298 chip has become very popular among robot / rc assemblers.
In summary of the specifications and capability of this shield motor is:
- can control dc motor 2pcs (2 channel) Or control 1 stepper bipolar motor, maximum current load motor = 2a / channel.
- it has a current sensing function to keep the motor and ic driver from overheating.
- can set the speed and turn the motor, It has a brake / brake feature by reversing the current from the motor while the motor is still spinning.
Application:
Can be used in all applications requiring dc / stepper motor control, Like robots, Rc, Cnc engine, Etc. Using arduino
Specs:
Logic part of the input voltage vd: 5v
Given part of the input voltage vs: Vin input 6.5~20v
Logical part of the work current iss: 36ma.
