Installation Method:
1. Connect the Modem: Connect the modem to the USB port of the computer, and plug the telephone line into the other end of the modem. If you need to connect the telephone, you can connect the external line to the telephone, and then connect the line from the extension port of the telephone to the modem.
2. Install the Driver:
Put the driver CD into the CD-ROM drive, plug in the modem, the computer prompts to find new hardware-select manual installation-click browse, select the cx-fu02/winxp folder on the CD (for Win7 system will automatically install the driver normally, no need to manually install). After the driver is installed, open the control panel-there will be a modem named USB data fax modem in the telephone modem option.
3. Install the fax software (Take the fax software that comes with the system as an example): For win7, you only need to Control Panel-Printers Faxes-Double Click FAX Printer-Tools-Fax Printer Configuration-Device, and check the box where sending and receiving are allowed Yes, for XP system needs to install fax first.
