The A4988 Stepper motor controller It is a DMOS stepper controller with overcurrent protection and converter that operates full bipolar stepper motors, half, quarter pass modes, 1/8 and 1/16 for the performance of Output Unit of up to 35 V and ± 2, the A4988 includes a fixed current regulator out of time that works in slow or mixed mode. The converter is the key to facilitate the application of the A4988. Simply enter a pulse on the "step" input to drive the motor to generate a micropass. Phase sequence table, high frequency control line or complex interface programming is not required. The A4988 interface is ideal for applications where complex microprocessors are not available or are overloaded.
