In the presence of this adapter module, the number of io pins required for communication from minsys to lcd became very small (only 2 io pins required for i2c).
This module can be directly held to your lcd board, very suitable for 16x2, 20x4, etc. Lcd character (1602 compatible)

Using the i2c interface on this will save io pins on your mcu boards. With this board, you can save 5 ios, that means you only need 2 io pins to drive it from mcu. If you already have i2c devices in your project, this lcd module actually cost no more io resources at all.

Pcf8574t or pcf8574at ic using
Voltage supply: + 5 v
Support the i2c protocol.
With backlight and contrast adjustment potentiometer
4-wire output
The default address is 0x27 for pcf8574t.
The default address is 0x3f for pcf8574at.
